It was just a sparkler, and I don't know if he ate any, but this is the SECOND time! Has anyone elses dog ever done this? Or eaten some other odd thing?

hee hee , my dog once ate a blue bottle at the beach, but he hasn't done it since!! The vet had never heard of a dog eating a blue bottle before, but once confirming that the pup hadn't been stung, he didn't seem overly concerned

Witt ate a toothpick not long ago, I was just this side of hysterical. He never had any trouble with it, we watched him and searched his poop and never found the toothpick.

A blue bottle is sort of like a mini jellyfish. they look like a small oval bubble full of air. They have stingers underneath like a jellyfish, they wrap themselves around swimmers legs in the ocean and they REALLY hurt when they sting. At some beaches they get washed up on shore and sometimes there are hundreds lined up along the sand and of course they are blue!!

Ooh, Ok! I figured they were some kind of jellyfish! Yeah, I HATE going to the beach during Jellyfish season, but sometimes that is the only time we can get a condo/house big enough for us! Last time we went was jellyfish season, and now I have scars!
