My min pin Guido was only 1 year and 3 months old today when an idiot hit him with their car and killed my baby boy. His little body just couldn't take it and he died in our arms before we could do anything about it. He was so funny and cute his ears were lopsided from when they cropped them wrong before I got him and he would act so guilty when he chewed something up, hiding under my computer chair or getting in his box and pulling the door shut until I said "weedo wees" then he knew I wasn't mad and he'd come to me and I would hug him and give him an 'it's okay' kiss on his soft little neck. But he just got out when we letting the beagle puppy out and ran into the street. I am going to miss him terribly and I can't seem to stop crying it has only been 4 hours and my heart is broken in two.
I am sorry if I make any of you sad I just needed to get it out to someone that would understand.
Thanks, Sherri

Oh! I am so sorry for you! I know almost how you feel! The other day my britany puppy got out front, and he crossed the street. Not too bad, then he saw the cat on the other side. He didn't move, at first. Then a car came and the cat ran, the dog ran after, and the car didn't even see him! THey didn't even slow down, although it is better that they didn't because he ended up right behind teh car, and if they had slowed down, I don't even want to think of which end he would have been on! O well, at least he wasn't hit! But I am SO sorry for you!

I am very sorry to hear about your little Min Pin
It is scarey how fast something like this can happen and we have no control over it.
I guess it's a really good reminder to those of us that have these fast little dogs that love to run, to make sure they are on a leash and not rely on that disease called trust that can steal away our little loved ones.
Sadly,
justme

Im so sorry for your loss. But Im sure your baby is in a better place right now, having lots of fun. Just remember the good times and dont dwell on the accident, because unfortunatlly we cant change the past just improve the future. God bless you and your family, your all in my prayers.

I thank all of you for your prayers and concerns. I think that my beagle/basset is not taking it well-she's two and Guido was her buddy the puppy tries to play with her but it just isn't the same. She keeps going to his box and to the door or just lays there on the couch staring at the door. It was so hard to come home today and not hear him raising kane to be let out of his box. I know that he is in a better place, but it still stinks. I am just really worried about Sadie.
Thanks again, Sherri

I feel terrible for you. And trust me even though we all don't know each other, we do get sad to hear about the loss of a pet. We are kind of united that way. We all love a re pets and fully understand your grieving over him. Min pins are such fiesty fun dogs. My neighbor down the street has one. He barks at everyone eccept me and my dogs. His bark is more of a come see me whine. He loves my dogs.
