I got this in an e-mail and it said to spread the word, so I am thinking it is okay to post it: Dear Best Friends Network members, Sara in Topeka, KS has contacted the Best Friends Network seeking help for a little Rat Terrier she rescued from an abusive home. Baby Girl is 2 years old, spayed. Fully vaccinated and on heartworm and flea preventative. She does have some allergy problems and is on lifetime medication for them twice daily. Baby Girl is very sweet and very protective of her foster mom and her territory. She gets along well with other dogs. Sara has another (80lbs) dog, and the two of them are best buds. It's pretty funny to watch the two of them play. Sara would love to keep Baby Girl. However, they have 5 cats and Baby Girl cannot be trusted with them! I have 5 cats and I don't quite trust her with them. She really would be best off in a home without cats (or small critters). Sara has not had her around children much at all but thinks a home with older children would be ok. Baby Girl really needs a home where someone has time to spend with her. She loves to go on walks and does well in the car. Unfortunately, she is home alone too much at Sara's house, either outside or in the kennel, and it just isn't fair to her. Please spread the word about this precious, sweet little pooch that is longing to find her forever home! Baby Girl's bags are all packed with her favorite blankie and toys and she is willing to travel to meet her new "Baby-Girl Family"! If you know someone that might be interested to learn more about Baby Girl, please contact Sara directly at: (785)234-8636 or e-mail her at: fatcatgonefishin@networksplus.net. Thank you for any help you might be able to provide and as always, thank you so much for being a part of the Best Friends Network. IP: Logged |
