I thought those of you who have Aussie pups or other breeds that have merle coat patterns would like to see how much they can change!

This is my dog Dooley at 9 weeks old:

Yup! We had a red merle, however she did the opposite, she was darker when she was younger, then you look at pics. of her when she is older and she is more of a pink merle than the red she started out as!

Wow Maisey- Dooley's coat really did change and what a cute dog you have. I wish I could figure out how to post pictures. My aussie is 7 months old and she is a tri-color. Her coat is not what I expected from an Aussie- it is not very long and I wonder if it will ever grow into what I normally thought an aussie coat would would turn into. I have to admit, I like her shorter coat because it is much easier to take care of and she is still fluffy without all that shedding aussies are capable of. Hopefully I can figure out how to post a picture!

Have you tried the img tags? Upload a picture somewhere - your own website, or a photo album site or something. Then paste the URL where your photo is located (within quotes) between these tags:

[ img] "URL" [ /img]

only do NOT put the spaces in the img tags.
