hi,

my 9 week old golden pup is not eating much at all, the last i weighed her at 8 weeks, she was 3.4kgs, i understand that's a little small.

i'm feeding her science diet and mixing in a little canned food as well, reason being she won't eat at all unless there's some canned food in there. even then, she's just picking at it most of the time. i'm starting to get a little worried and wondering if i should bring her to the vet.

she's also still having loose stools even though i have kept pretty much to the same diet since i got her a week ago.

HELP!!!! i'm getting worried she isn't eating enough or actually sick to begin with.

I would take her in to the vet for a checkup. Worms could be the cause of not eating.

Also, you should look into a better quality food. Check out the thread "Food for Thought" and also the "canidae versus innova" thread.

Good luck to you and get that pup to the vet!
