my 11 year old beagle has had back problems for most of her life...the last few years she has had arthritis bad, but due to the medication she was on years before for her back, her liver or kidney or something is to damaged to handle any medication for the arthritis....lately she hasnt been able to go up the steps to the house, and will just lie in bed crying and if you even touch her she will yelp in pain....but if one of the other dogs come in the house, or we start to get her excited she is perfeclty fine and is running and jumping like nothing is wrong....i am throughly confused about what to do...we decided to have her put down and put her out of her pain...but when we put the leash on her she was So excited...and running and jumping....and i just couldnt go through with it... PLEASE any suggesttions

I have learned just in the week that giving Milk thistle to a dog will help to repair the liver and or kidney. Not all the way but it helps. Start giving it to your beagle. Do a search and find out the benifits. Get it at your local healthfood store.
