Ok, first of all, i know it is kind of late to be wondering this but i think my dog is in labor. She is definately pregnate, and every 15 or 20 min she howels and she looks like she is trying to deliver them. Is there anything i can do to help her to deliver the babies or ease the pain. I hate seeing her like this. Email me as soon as you can with any advice or (preferably...) instant message me at LilBlondeGa.

Thanks for your time,
Heather

When you tell people to message or email you.. you ought to give an address or something.. Sounds like your dog may be starting contractions.. or she could be in labor.. you need to get her to the vet because there could be a breech or still born stuck in the birth canal which can kill her and/or all the pups.. YOU NEED TO GET HER TO THE VET ASAP!! This can be a life threatening situation..

Call your vet ASAP, you need someone there to help you as it sounds like you have not prepared yourself for this. Do you have any breeder friends or the breeder of your dog who you could call???

There isn't a lot you can do except watch her closely. Did her water break? How long has seen been in labour? Do you know for sure she is pregnant? Some bitches will go into false pregnancy and may even try to give birth.

Please call someone to assist you. If she's been like this for hours it could get very dangerous

i have to agree with the other posts get in touch with your vet ASAP to get your dog checked over.

was this is planned pregnancy?
why did you want her to have puppies if it was?
do you have the time to care and look after the puppies if the mother wont look after them or becomes ill?
there is so many things you should have thought through if this was a planned pregnancy..

if this was not planned why didn't you have your dog spayed to stop her from ever getting pregnant ??

keep us posted of her progress
