I just replied to a question and it made me think of posting a new topic. I have a Husky, now 16, that when she was young (before I had her spayed) would take alarm clocks when she heard them going off, and think they were her puppies. She would run off with them, curl up in a ball and tuck them in her belly, as if she was trying to calm them or nurse them. It was the strangest thing...she took all of them in our house and kept them in her "nest" and was protective of them, concerned if one was missing. After she was spayed, she was no longer interested, so I attributed this to her just wanting to have a litter of pups herself.
Any other strange stories anyone can share?
