well, it has been a little over 24 hours since i took stimpy to the vet. He isn't doing any better though, i know i should give it time, but i am so scared that he will not make it. I have put so much time and love into this dog, i can't stand to see him suffer, and they won't let me come visit him because they don't want me to spread it by being around him. i just wish we would have caught it sooner, so that i wouldn't be as worried, i gave him some garlic mixed in water ( about 4cc) the night before he went to the vet. and today, my dog ringo threw up once, but it was a whole lot, should i be worried about him too? he is up to date on his shots!

It was too strong for my little baby stimpy, the foster Chihuahua just couldn't hold on any longer. He died during the night last night, i just wish that i could have done something to prevent this, i should have asked for a parvo test sooner. when we took him to the vet on tuesday. That day, i they thought it was worms, and i thought everything was going to be alright. My baby is gone now, he won't be finding a home that loves him. But i know he feels better now, i don't have to worry about him being in pain.

I am monitoring ringos eating, stool and mood. I would take him to the vet, but they are closed until monday, so i am going to but the stuff for a parvo recipe, just in case he starts showing signs of it while the vet is closed. he isn't acting funny, and he throws up a lot anyway bcuz he has a lot of cocker spaniel in him, and my aunt has a cocker spaniel, and she throws up a lot, the vet said that is normal in cocker spaniels, just not like every day. he has only thrown up once, and we think it was because we switched dog foods, but we are still weary, and if he gets sick, we are going to take him to the 24/7 vet clinic in murfreesburo(town close to ours) but could someone tell me the parvo recipe so i can get the ingredients? just in case

You at least showed the poor pup love and he did know what it was like to be loved. I'm sorry that it ended this way. Maybe you could look in the archives for the recipe or post a new post asking for it. I hope I never have to deal with parvo.

How is your other dog now. Is he better and did you bring him to the vet yet?
