Hi! I want everyone to know that Jack Russels are precious dogs. A lot of people get rid of them because of their curious nature. Let me tell you that once they get to about 6 months old that starts to blow over, and its worth the wait! I have a female and she is the smartest dog i've ever had. She is loving and playful. She was easy to train and she is the joy of my life. I'm almost got rid of her but i'm glad i didnt make that mistake. J.rs are one of the most common dogs to fall homeless. I want to try and change that somewhat. If anyone has any thing to add to this please do. Thanks

Glad to hear it! I am afraid there might be Jack Russell in my dog, along with Aussie and/or Border Collie, so you might imagine that she is a real handful!

We would never take her back to the shelter, though. She will be a good doggie!

My mother's best friend has two Jack Russell's.. Jack who is three and Sugar who is two. Sugar is one of those over protective girls.. and Jack is unbeliveably BRILLIANT.. He is so active and fun to be around yet so mellow and relaxed when inside. He has problems with seixures but he is a big sweetheart.. He'd make a good candidate for the Mighty Dog commercials.. lol.

We think our dog Rufus is wirehaired JRT-border collie.
Jamiya I'd like to see your dog.
