Hi, I have a 7 month old lab/retriever mix named Molly. She's always been an exceptionally healthy dog, but for the last couple weeks, I've noticed a patch of missing hair on her muzzle. She has black fur, but the spot is kind of dark grey and scaley. It's about as big around as a quarter now, but I really didn't even notice it until it was that size because she's always on the move. I think it might be mange, but I'm not really sure. I'm calling the vet Monday to see what she thinks, but until then, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks. IP: Logged |

It might be ringworm. Or just a staff infection. ------------------ IP: Logged |
