Hi, My question concerns worming. I have 2 week old lab puppies. I know it is time to start wormimg but the wormer that I have is alittle confusing. The amount to give a dog is 1 teaspoon per ten pounds. This would come down to 1/5th but how do I calculate that in CC if I am giving it by mouth through a syringe. I do not want to over dose them since they are so little. Any help is appreciated IP: Logged |

hi i used to just give my puppies a teaspoon what i did was put it on the spoon then used the syringe to suck it up then i knew exactly how much to put in the syring each time then by the time my puppies where 8weeks old the were getting around 2 1/5 teaspoons of wormer then they were put on the tablets which should only be treated from roundworm until they are about 12 weeks old if in doubt contact your vet who will be only to happy to help you on this as everyone has a different opinion on worming IP: Logged |
