When God had made the earth and sky, the flowers and the trees.
He then made all the animals and all the birds and bees.

And then His work was finished, and not one was quite the same
He said I'll walk this earth of mine and give each one a name.

And so he traveled land and sea, and everywhere He went
a little creature following him, until its strength was spent.

When all were named upon the Earth, and in the sky and sea,
A little creature said, Dear Lord, there's not one left for me.

The Father smiled and softly said, I've left you to the end,
I've turned my own name back to front

and called you "Dog" my friend.

Hello Rhonda,
I'm very sorry that your baby boy Chance is'nt going to be here (w/ you) anymore longer. There's a better place for him than this one here we call LIFE.
Where ever he goes, and what ever he becomes, i just hope he'll be happier than he could have ever been here on Earth. For the time that he spent here as a beautiful Rottweiler/DOG, like i said before, he will always love you for loving him. Blessings on your future companion (canine). It will be better than ever... .

Rhonda, I am so sorry for your loss!! I know losing a puppy is devastating. I've been there. It will take a while to be able to let him go.
But think about it this way... I read once in a book a child's comment on the death of a dog - he said, and I'm just quoting from my memory - " I know we are all here down on Earth sent by God to learn how to love, but dogs already know it, so this is why they go back to Heaven much earlier than we do!" So I guess little Chance did a wonderful job with his mission given By the Lord!
