Our 12-week old bulldog, Odie, was diagnosed with Parvo this morning 8/20/03. He is in the hospital now fighting for his life. He went from a happy-go-lucky puppy to deathly ill in just a few hours. We pray our boy will make it and could use your prayers too. We bought him from a reputable breeder/importer who said he was up-to-date on his shots. Our hearts are broken knowing how he is suffering. Please keep him in your prayers.

My prayers are with you also. My sister had a tiny poodle puppy that developed parvo as a pup. He was on IV's and and near death but eventually turned the corner and lived to be an old and much loved family pet. I pray for you and your baby.

Odie update - He made it through last night and today. He is hooked to IV's that keep him hydrated and meds to control the vomiting. He is still suffering horribly from bloody diarrhea, one of the ravages of this virus. The doctor says tonight - tomorrow will be a defining time for our boy. We are encouraged by stories of survival and hope & pray his body has the strength to fight the fight. Thanks to you all for your thoughts and prayers!!!!
