I bought my dog some brewers yeast and garlic today.I was wondering if I would need to crush the pills in order for him to digest it right.Or should I feed them as they are?

I have always heard that pills digest way better by being crushed to fine powder. They probably will get the nutrients to your dog. But I think the finer the better.
