Hey everyone I have another question. I have been watching my 1 year old nephew alot lately and my pit/lab mix seems to be getting very jealous. He's not mean to the baby but he seems to need all the attention. I am worried that if I don't do something he might become mean! Can anyone help me?

i have never dealt with a baby and pit at the same time excuse me mix. My family had a pitbull when I was growing up. I would say just to give him plenty of attention. Make sure to be firm with him when he is acting the way you don't want him too. When he acts up give him some time out from the situation. Then allow him back in. What ever you do, do not leave the baby alone with him.

I never ever leave them alone. When I leave the room I call the dog with me. The dog is actually very sweet to the baby.. gives him kisses and all, the baby even crawls on the floor with him. I am just worried that if I let the jealousy get too bad without doing something that he might get mean, I just want to be more safe then sorry, you know?
