Hi Rolex... make sure that you are the one who feeds your dog, lets it outside to go potty and gives it water. YOU be it's caretaker. I'll bet the reason your dog attacks you when your brother is beating you up, is because you are the one screaming. When my husband and I wrestle around or if we are tickling one of the kids, the dog always barks at the one who is squeeling and making noise.

I hear ya Maisey, My terrier will bark like a nut at me if I lay face down on the floor. I really don't knopw what goes thru his head at that moment. Maybe he thinks i'm hurt or something. I do everything for this dog, well both of my dogs. He usually barks at the person who is being the aggressor. Yep I just pretended to beat up my boy (teenage) and he pretended he was hurting and crying and my dog barked at me.

That is too funny, puttin - one of my dogs does the same thing! When my son lays on the floor face down, Graysie barks like crazy! She sometimes does it if you just cover your face with your hands, but goes crazy in the position you described! I wonder why??

When I lay like that Witt shoves his face quite forcably in and under me until he can get a good lick in, he seems to like this game of "find a way in".

Rolex: I do know that dogs will sometimes go after a crying srceaming smaller weak dog and attack. hopefully thats not the case right LOL. Start taking him for walks play ball of whatever he likes feed him and he will be wrapped around your finger.
