My puppy of 10-11 weeks makes mild gagging/burping noises a lot (or at least I think that's what they are). His stomach/lower half of his body sometimes throbs as well, it's quick consistent throbbing for a few minutes (or even a minute), not really sure what to make of it either, or if the gagging/burping noise is related to it. His poop goes in form of a liquid almost. This is my first time taking care of a puppy, and I'm pretty sure this is not normal at all. I'm not really sure what it is exactly.. or even how to treat it. If you have any idea as to how I could treat it or why this happens, please feel free to respond with any advice or suggestions. Thanks a lot! IP: Logged |

My Welsh Corgi had similar symptoms when she was a puppy - belching, vomiting, belly gurgles, wet to loose stools. We found that she had an intestinal parasite - which was treated with medication and cleared up quickly. I agree you should take your pup to the vet. IP: Logged |

My 9 week old puppy does this now and then, too. If it continues, I'll take her to be de-wormed again - but I figure that she is eating crumbs off the kitchen floor and grass outside and puppies tend to have sensitive tummies. As long as she is eating and drinking and keeping almost all of it down, then I think that she's okay. IP: Logged |
