here would be a good place to post your opinions about byb breeders and pet shops all opinions here are not directed toward any particular breed nor how much one spent on their breed.although some might think that x amount is too much for a particular breed all post here are not meant to offend.just opinions from all. i would also like to add something that someone posted here awhile back it's a website that has a clickable button to help feed an animal in need. it's free all you need to do is click. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/CTDSites.woa [This message has been edited by iluvmypup (edited 06-07-2003).] IP: Logged |

Petstores that sell animals IMO should ALL be closed done,,the only way for this to happen is for people to stop buying pets from them.I won't shop in any store that sells pets. I go to all petstores and hand out information about puppymills to anyone entering the store. The stores don't like it at all,,but can't really stop me as long as i'm not on their property..Most people are supprised at what they read,,they have no idea what a puppymill is. PLEASE look at this site,,scroll done to the pictures if you can,, this is a puppy mill that sells to petstores. http://www.columbusdogconnection.com/MorrowCountyPuppyMill.htm IP: Logged |

although i dont think there are many puppy mills in perth [western australia] something i do see lots are puppies and kittens in pet shops that are FAR too young to be there. on a couple of occasions ive stopped to look at the pets people have just bought and i ask them 'how old is it' and the usual answer is 6 weeks. i tell them that this is way too young and that they shouldnt be seperated from their mum till at least 8 weeks and all they do is give me a look as if 'oh look at this miss know it all, i think shes jealous that she doesnt have this puppy'.... some people are so ignorant..
