Hey everyone, this is "malteseof2003" Since I forgot my PW and got a new e-mail I just decided to start fresh with a new account. So hi! Okie, now for my question... I'm going to get my little maltese neutered at about 5 months of age. I need to know something. There is a certain anthesia that the vets use that is dangerous. Which kind is that? I don't want anything to happen to the little fella. So, if anybody could tell me the "good" and "bad" kind, I would appreciate it! =) thanks~

I don't know if it's the same for dogs, but when my cat went in for surgery, the vet told me that she could do a blood test to find out if my kitty could possibly experience problems with the anesthetic. I don't know if there are "bad" or "good" anesthetics, just animals that have bad reactions to them. Ask your vet if he/she can do this blood test. Hope that helps!
