What are some of the signs of parvo? My shih-poo Turbo who is 10 wks. old has thrown up the past two nights. It just looked like wet dog food. I am taking him to the vet this afternoon, but was just wondering if anyone else has a dog who has done this. I thought his belly might be upset the first time it happened, but then he did it again last night. Please help! IP: Logged |

Mexicanbeauty, I have has a dog witha case of parvovirus. The symptoms are :lathargic ( however you spell it=tired alot or not very active) throwing up, blood in the stool, diarrreh, and loss of apetite. I think thats about it. I would get your dog to the vet ASAP, and make sure He/She gets plenty of fluids. I would also try to keep the place as clean as possible. (Especially if you have other dogs, keep them away) I hope your doggy gets better/ Keep us informed! IP: Logged |
