We have a new 6 month old Pek-a-poo and we do our own spraying for bugs around the house. We use something that has no ordor but is powerful to the bugs...killing them every time. We spray the house about once a month. Sugar, our Pek, loves to sniff and BUG HUNT...she spends a lot of her time doing this...it's really cute to watch, but we do not want to harm her in any way. We live in the country so we have to spray. Any suggestions ? What do you guys do about this and is it harmful to the pet after it has dried ? Thanks a bunch...there's a lot to learn it seems. The vet on the Best Friends message board recommended flea spray to kill bugs....she said that flea spray will kill most bugs and is less harmful than other household pesticides. Good luck. IP: Logged |

Some of the sprays they make are very toxic to animals and people, and there must be a certain amount of fumigation time before its safe to go back in the area. THere are also less harmful, non-toxic natural repellents you can use. You might find something along these lines in a health food or garden store. I think there are some sites with holistic blends you can even buy online. IP: Logged |
