Hello Swankmca-yes, certain puppies do. Mine does. I have a 6 mo old Pekapoo. It is the wierdest thing! I was warned by my vet that he would lose his teeth and then when it happend it was just like us humans. I play a little rough with my dog but I am sure it contributed to maybe losing them quicker. I noticed a little blood on my hand and finally realized it came from him and then I looked into his mouth and wouldn't you know he lost a tooth. Then another , then another. The first to go were the little ity bity ones in the front. The latest one he lost was a huge pointed one, it was actually loose and bleeding, I saw blood on his paw, so I opened his mouth and looked in. It was VERY loose and barely hanging on so I pulled it out, just like my daughters! They also grow back EXTREMELY fast. Within a day or two the new tooth was half way in! So, yes, I think the smaller breeds do. I don't remember my other (outside dog, half shepard, half malmute) ever losing teeth. What kind of dog do you have?

i have a 3 mo old mix chi-pom, she gets her teeth caught on my carpet alot, not meanig to i don"t think, she plays hard some times with her toys on the carpet.
i've only had her a month.
she also grabs us by her teeth, not to hurt us, but it is iratating,i don't know how to break her of that.

I have a 6 month old Papillon male named Max and a few weeks ago I noticed a baby tooth on my carpet. I never knew that he would loose his teeth, I had recently gave him a rawhide and I just thought it was too hard for his teeth but now I know he will loose more....Thanks........

i have a 5 month shih poo and he's been losing his teeth too. his teeth have been growing back in 2-3 days. all puppys lose their teeth. mine hasen't had any bleeding but that's probably because i baby him.you might want to give him some ice to chew on because the gums get sore when they lose teeth and it makes my little guy feel better.so give it a try
