I have a 6 year old female beagle, and she just doesn't get it! I don't want her to pee on the carpet! I haven't been able to find a way for her to understand, or for me to be 100% consistent. I'm 1/2 to blame, too!  My apt. isn't set up for her to be anywhere where there is no carpeting. I've thought about putting newspapers down, but don't know to teach her that that's where to go!
