Parvo is not contagious to humans only other dogs. So if you do have other dogs in the house get them out and to a vet immediately good luck with your puppy hope he pulls through.

May I beg to differ please. YES, you can get PARVO or anything else an animal has.

I HAVE HAD IT. And it can make an adult very ill. Children are more suceptible, but adults can get it too.

Sugar, I am very curiuos. How did the parvo affect you? and what sort of symtpoms did you get, how long they stayed and how treated. I have never heard of anyone getting parvo from a dog. But you know with the aids disease, I do believe they think it started with monkeys, I could be wrong. And SARS they don't know where that came from.

From what I have heard, there is a "certain" type of parvo that humans can catch....But, as far as canine parvo, I dont think so... Thats just thoughts!
