jp I am not a breader. We are a family that bread our dog so a friend could have a pup. You do not even know what kind of person I am. I will tell you... I love my maltipoo just like she is was of my own. To sell my pups is breaking my heart. If I could handle having 5 dogs in my house I would have kept all the pups for myself. And I am making sure all my pups go to the same kind of family as my own. I realize you feel for all the animals in shelters but you really need to stop bashing all the one time breading people. And remember we all don't bread our dogs for money. IP: Logged |

Look here... Stop with the fictitious statements. There is absolutely nothing bashing about my posts. I am informing people of some general educational sites they have a right to READ. When you BREED your dog you become a BREEDER. Regardless if it is "only" once, twice or a dozen times, intentional or not, you now have a responsiblity, and have created animals that other people can and will breed (because their friend wants one or because they want to experience the miracle of birth) thus continuing the cycle. Obviously you are having a difficult time selling these pups because I have noted one several occasions advertising posts from YOU trying to sell pups. I know others learn from the sites I provide and your experience -- the fact that it isn't easy selling pups when you are not prepared ahead of time. Breeding a whole litter of mixed breed pups (or even purebred pups) because one friend wanted one IS irresponsible regardless of how much we love our pets. It also puts the same very dog's life at risk and risks the pups health since there no one has tested for any genetic disease and conditions. I do not agree with any breeding if it is not taken seriously and with wholehearted LONG term involvement. There are just too many risks and too many unwanted dogs. Sorry you don't like this but it is reality. IP: Logged |
