I have a 4 month old German Shorthair that I have a severe allergic skin reaction too. I have always owned dogs but have never been allergic to them. I have been told that many people are allergic to puppy dander, but as the dog matures this allergy disapates. Is this true? I love my puppy and dont want to give him up! HELP! IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear that. Dogs always have dander which I don't think changes but sometimes our immune systems adjust and we learn to tolerate allergies and they subside. Are you sure its the dander? People are often allergic to dog's saliva also. Good luck hope things work out IP: Logged |

There are several anti allergy products you can wash your dog in to help with the problem. You might want to look at some better shampoo too that might help with the dander. IP: Logged |
