Anyone ever had experience with Science Diet Small bites, for puppies? Or SD all natural small bites? I believe I will use this brand, my aunt does, and her dogs are REALLY REALLY healthy! =) I'm just looking for some experiences with this dog food product, good or, bad. Thanks!

We tried the regular size kibble. My terrier at the time was having skin issues. So we were looking for something that would ease up his itchiness. I had to find another brand. We have ours on Innova now. We went thru about 4 different brands of food. He no longer is itchy and my poodle no longer has digestion problems. It may well work for your dog though. I decided to go for a more natural food as the pet supply store would say. This is only my veiws. I know that with small dogs they need a specific diet. So maybe someone with a toy breed can say what is good. Or I can go to the other forum I go to and ask the group what they feed their malteses.

I think that you will be a great dog owner. Only a conserned pet owner seeks out advise. Even though you are young, you still care enough to find out what you don't know. Did you get the chance to check out the website on parvo that i emailed to you?

bella is a one year old mix shih tzu/toy poodle.. when she was pup i fed her nutro max puppy, she liked it but it wasn't anything amazing.. just last week i began switching her off the puppy food and to innova.. i'm still giving her a little nutro max with the innova but she picks out the innova and gobbles it up.. she loves the stuff.. after doing a lot of research about foods i'm so happy that i pay a couple of bucks more for the really really good stuff..
sorry i haven't tried the science diet stuff.. but i thought i'd share about my dog food experiences and with tons of rave reviews about innova i've switched and couldn't be happier.. you can check out their site and others and make your own educated decision..
