My 7 week old lab/golden retriever puppy had a about a pea-size lump on her lower stomache. The skin looks really tight like theres something under there. There's another close by thats slightly smaller. Any ideas as to what this might be?

Duh, Brittney, dad already told you it was a seed tick. And please find a new forum so your name doesn't mess up mine.

I don't know if it's a seed tick. I thought this forum was public. Can anyone tell me different?

I would take your pup to a vet. Even if it is an imbedded tick, it needs to be removed and probably will need an antibiotic. My German Shepherd contracted Lyme Disease from a tick (even though we use flea/tick ptotection). She's fine now but had to be on antibiotics for quite awhile.

P.S. You folks related?
