Hi, we're looking to purchase a Cockapoo
(Cocker Spaniel/Poodle) puppy in the next few months. We live in central PA and would prefer to pick it up personally rather than have it shipped to us.

We'd like to find a black one if possible. And the bigger the better as far as growth potential. We're not looking for anything mini.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on breeders from Cockapoo owners in our part of the country. AND please include your horror stories if you adamantly believe a particular place should be avoided.

I've had a terrible experience with a breeder several months ago where a puppy determined "unfit for sale" by three separate veterinarians died within a week.

I'd appreciate your input on this next puppy purchase.

Check out petfinder in your area. We had a black cocker-poo when I was groing up. He was one great dog.
