My german shepard had ( puppies % weeks ago today.Within two days 5 of them have died The vet cant fit me in until Friday .I am scared that the rest are going to die before them. All I know is they stop eating, then start whining, after a few hours they start gasping for air, when they breathe it sounds like a gurgle noise, about an hour later they are dead. This is breaking my heart since I have grown very attached to all (.Can anyone help?

I would get them to an emergency vet right away.

Then I would find myself a new vet!!

Yes, definatley go to an emergency vet ASAP and then tell your current vet to take a big fat HIKE. What kinda vet is that anyways..puppies are dying and can't find the time...what a jerk.
I have a vet that works out of her home and I am so greatful for her. Once there was a freik accident with a kitten, the poor thing fell off the counter and onto its head and was had blood coming from the ears...it was sooo sad....I called my vet at like 10 in the evening and she told me to come right away...this was in the middle of a Saturday night when she had guests over and she still took the time to see my kitty and do the most humaine thing and euthenize her...I still miss my lil Mia...she was soo cute and friendly, but thank goodness for my vet...I'll never replace her..unless she stops being a vet.

None of the puppies from Pepper's litters ever did that. She gave birth to a still born, but never had any of them die after they were born....never herd of it before....I would get to a vet ASAP....my thoughts are with you and your puppies.

P.S. is this your first litter with this bitch?

Yes this is her first litter & good news I found a vet that took them yesterday and they did cultures and put the pups on antibiotics. They have a respratory infection & turned into pneumonia. I still cry for the 5 pups I lost but thankfully to MY NEW VET I will be able to enjoy the last 4.At least until they find good homes.Next week my bitch is getting spayed.Thank all of you for your help Lisa.

Glad to hear it all worked out.
There are many things that bothered me in your post, but since you are getting your dog spayed...I won't bother. Thank-you for being a responsible dog owner and having your animal fixed.

Cheers
