I think that all dogs are great in their way. I have a terrier mix and a min poodle. Both which I rescued from the shelter. I used to have a cockerpoo when I was growing up. He was the best dog we had ever had. When he died we tried getting another dog that looked just like him, he was cute, but he sure was dingy. I named my terrier mix after him, Rufus. There is something to be said about the way a poodle runs and jumps. They are so beautiful to watch. I just get such a kick out of watching her play. Then again watching my other dog act like the nut he is, is a crack up too. I think the reason people are wanting full breed dogs that have been bred by champions is because, after getting a dog that is not from a well checked out stud and bitch, and I do mean inside and out temperment and all. People are more willing to spend more on a dog that is (almost) guaranteed to be free of diseases than rather pay much more down the road because of unseen sicknesses. Which can still happen, but the likeleyhood of that is much less. I guess it is almost a guarantee. We want our dogs to live as long as possible so some people will go to a further length for that(near) guarantee. I only paid $90.00 for my poodle, but right out the gate she needed nearly $200.00 dollars worth of care to get her healthy. I paid a whopping $28.00 dollars for my terrier mix. Plus the mange dips down the road, but oh well. I think all breeds have their unique and beautiful traits. I just happen to think that poodles have such beautiful lines on their faces, so do the afghans. They remind me of horses, kind of. So, Alright be nice, I am new to this forum.

This is me again, how come nobody reads the ones that have not been open. I think it is a good idea to do so, because there are people that really are seeking advice.

I read your message. I am also new to this message board. I found you message interesting. I have peekapoos...I also breed them. I use to have AKC peks..my grandmother bred them for years. I love the peks..but now I'm stuck on peekapoos...I love the mixture of the peks and poos. All of my babies have their own personality..so different..very dedicated to me, loving, cuddly, well mannered, playful...I could go on and on..I LOVE them all. I'm addicted..I would buy everyone of them if I could afford it...LOL....well I hope you post a message back. C-YA

Good grief, I was starting to loose hope for this forum. I say if you like the mix of a poo and peke then that is fine. As long as you know that you are breeding physically and mentally fit doggies. There seems to be a big demand for them and other poo mixs. I know I have seen a shitzu-poo and a lhasa-poo. You just keep playing it safe with your beloved pets and take good care of them, And as I know you probably already do screen your potential puppy owners Right.
