We just got an 8 week old choc. lab. pup - I need to know what to do to stop him from whinning after putting him in the kennel for the night - noone else can sleep so I take him out and he lays by me while I sleep on the couch (IKNOW THIS IS A BAD HABIT, but the rest of the house is sleeping) anyone try anything that has worked - I will be willing to give a try at anything!

TRY LEAVING THE TV ON WITH THE VOLUME DOWN LOW..OR YOU CAN TRY PUTTING A CLOCK THAT TICS IN WITH IT AT NIGHT...

I JUST RESENTLY GOT A BASSETT/BEAGLE AND HE CRIED ALL NIGHT..SO I LEFT THE TV ON FOR HIM LAST NIGHT AND HE WENT RIGHT TO SLEEP..
