I don’t think maltese will be really happy in a kennel outside. They are indoor dogs (sofa dogs in most cases). So,I reckon NO. IP: Logged |

i strongly agree with albert. they are very social, i know mine would be miserable outside, i couldn't imagine her not inside with me where its warm and cozy. IP: Logged |

I say NO way. I don't know what state you are in, but there are lots of preditors that can fly in, or climb a fence and run off with a tiny maltese. These dogs should always be kept inside. They should be brushed daily to. I live in California, There are coyotes in some parts around here. There are foxes just a few blocks from me and falcons that fly over us, Not to mention those awful black crows, in wich they like to gang up on an animal. IP: Logged |

Not even in a kennel. These dogs dine on attention. They need special care. IP: Logged |
