A month ago we adopted a 4 yr old lab. We are trying to teach him to urinate in tall grass near our house. Sometimes he will go there with no problem and sometimes we can't get him to go there. He will go anywhere such as grass, driveway or garage. We praise him when he goes where we are training him to go. Sometimes he will be standing near us and will just start urinating. Do you think a shocker collar would help in this situation or what else can we do? IP: Logged |

Hi, this is just an idea, but could it be that he is just marking his territory? Or maybe since he's urinated in other places with no problems, he figures, what the heck, why go further when the spot he's at is fine. ???? good luck to ya. IP: Logged |
