I have an 8 month old shih poo that I purchased from a pet store when he was 3 months old. He is the most wonderful pet I have ever owned. He was very easy to housebreak and listens very well. He has a very warming and wonderful personality. Good luck with your dog in Dec. and let me know how he/she work out for you. Also, I am considering purchasing another one also the first of the new year.

Kathy,

Agree with you 1000%. We have a Shih Malty (3 1/2 years old) and he has
brought a lot of happiness into our lives.

They learn very fast and are very gentle with just about everything including kids. They are very smart, loyal loving creatures (angels !).

Laureno, take good care of this little angle you are about to get and enjoy the years of happiness and love it is going to bring into your life.

All the best.

Brooke:
I did not use wee-wee pads. I just kept taking him outside on a leash and within two weeks, I had him trained. He had an occasional accident but that was with the first month I had him. Now that I know his routine, I have no problems.
I am interested in purchasing a maltipoo or yorkiepoo the first of the year. Does anyone have any suggestions on litter training? I would appreciate a feedback.

Kathy

Kathy-

I was trying the wee wee pads and i have had more success with taking her out all the time. she goes on the wee wee pad in the early hrs of the morning (only pee). She wont go #2 on the wee wee pad though. so i just take her outside now.
