I have a 4 year old Maltese that has taken to peeing in the house. First it was only in one bedroom, but then he began going in other rooms as well. Now he even peed on my kitchen table!! Can anyone help me?

Some pets actually have underlying medical conditions that can cause this, so have your pet examined in order to rule out these problems (bladder infections, diabetes, cushing's disease, etc.).
If there are no medical conditions, the problem may be behavioral. Housebreaking techniques may need to be used.

Gail is right about having your pet checked out by a Vet .. but if its behavior, get two water bottle one for the dog > put water it and everytime you see the dog going to the potty spray the dog ..scare the dog, then play the good guy by holding the dog and taking it outside to show it again where it needs to go .. socialiogy on the dog. second bottle put a tiny (I mean a tiny) bit of bleach with lemon juice and water .. and spray where the dog is going potty .. will take the smell out and help you in your proccess of getting the dog back on track .. You didn't mention if it was a male or female, or if there are other pets in the house. Sometimes males dogs "mark" their territory. It appears a lot like "pee" but it isn't. If other pets (especially female pets) reside in the home as well, your dog may indeed be marking.

Good Luck
