Ever since she had her babies she has been hiding them away from me. Why is she doing this. She has had many litters before, and she has never done this. Why is she doing it now? My last momma cat would keep her babies in one spot for a day or 2 and then move them into another area for another day or 2. I would move them back and she would move them to really creative areas that I couldnt get to. At one point she had ripped the lining out from underneath my box springs and had moved the litter inside of it. I spent lots of time crawling under the bed to get a peak that everything was going ok. IP: Logged
charmedagain Member Posts: 240 From:uk Registered: Aug 2003	posted 11-18-2003 05:24 AM Hi, Cats are very protective of there babies and the slightest little noise can un-nerve them so they will move there babies to another place that they think is safer. my mums cats where always moving there kittens. If a cat feels threatened or scared when they have young they will move them. Each birth of any animal is different the more babies they have the more protective they become, she is not moving them so you cant bother them she just feels alitte insecure. Do u have visiters that have been and looked at the kittens as something change in the household like new baby decorating anything like that these can make a cat or any animal uneasy.. IP: Logged
