hello everyone, My kitten charlie scratched the skin around calis eye and now her left eye is closed a bit more than the other and my roomies keep calling her "blinky" Is there anything i can do to help the cut heal any quicker? I checked her eye and its ok so im not worried about that, but both my cats play alot together and i dont want charlie to hurt her eye anymore then it is. Thanks ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hi I cant think of anything except polysporine (sp?) but even then I don't know if its safe for cats (its good for kids though!) Whatever you do, check the ingredients for hydrocortisone. Hydrocortisone if comes in contact with the eye can cause the cornea tissue to thin (at least it does on people so I will assume it will do the same on cats.) Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
