I've got a 9 week old boy who is adorable and fiendish all in one I've posted before about him being a menace at night and last night he slept all through, cuddles up between myself and my husband. Success or so I thought. He's wet our bed and left a little 'extra deposit' in our bathroom bin. His litter box is always clean, just don't get it. He had a bed wetting thing a week ago but stopped. It's almost as if he's being a cheeky, wee rascal, having a pee cause we tired him out enough to sleep through Needless to say, hubby was not overly impressed this morning by baby wlaking over his face with little pee soaked paws! I've haD suggestions that another kitten would help to keep him company. Will this help or just give me two wonderful but sleep depriving fur balls? IP: Logged |

I adopted 2, 11 week old kittens from the local SPCA, and for the first 3 weeks they were with me, they went to the bathroom EVERYWHERE except the litter box. I think it's just a matter of training and getting use to the new home..... First if all, I bought 2 litter boxes, one is in my bedroom and the other is in the corner of my living room (and I only live in a one bedroom apartment). Every 2 hours I would put them in the litter box and 'scratch' their paws in the litter to show them where to go and also about 20-30 minutes after they ate or drank anything. I also bought some good carpet cleaner and frebrezze to get rid of the odors. If the kitties smell the odors, it is likely that they will go there again. After about 3 weeks, they were always going to the litter box with NO accidents Good Luck!! IP: Logged |
