This is a followup message to something I posted earlier in the week. My cat was vomiting then stopped eating. They did X-rays Monday and it showed a blockage on her right side. They went in to see what the blockage was and all they could find was a pound of fat in which they removed. She was 16.9 pounds before surgery. My first visitation was yesterday and she is up moving around and eating a bit. I get to bring her home this evening and I'm hoping she'll start eating better. They put a duragesic pain patch on her and I don't know if that will affect her appetite. If she doesn't start eating and drinking it will be another trip to the Vet only this time it will be an internal specialist. Thanks so much for everyone's help and support. Paula and Calley (Meow)..

Hopefully that was the problem. Cats don't usually eat a lot right after surgery. I would mainly worry about her drinking for the first day or so.
