Peppa is only 4 weeks old and was taken wayaw from the mother too early. anywho, we got him at 3 wks. i am currently feeding him some soft kitten food and some catmilk for kittens by whiskas. When peppa meows after taking the bottle he sounds all clogged up and congested then spits up a little. i try giving him a little water afterwards to help. what could it be? pls. email me at lilsislynn2@aol.com just incase i cannot find this site again..... thanks a bunch...... He is probably aspirating some of the milk into his lungs. Make sure that the hole in the bottle isnt so big that you can not control the flow of the milk. If the flow of the milk is to strong and he can not swallow fast enough you could drown him. I use 12 cc syringes and slowly push the milk out. Once they get the hang of it they can normally suck the milk out by themselves. IP: Logged |
