Does anyone have a cat that every so often goes on a 1-2 day hunger strike, maybe pukes once or twice, and basically is just "off"?!?! My kitten is 7 months old and is doing this again! I've taken her to the vet FOUR times and they have tested for everything. Everything. All they can come up with is maybe, MAYBE it's colitis. She does have the Herpes thing that used to make her eyes watery, but now not so much. I just can't stand hearing her throw up, it's the worst sound ever. Also, seeing my peppy little gal acting lethargic is too much. So I was just checking in with y'all to see if anyone else had experienced this before I call the vet yet again and be labelled a kook. Seriously. They may think I have Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy if I go there one more time.

Thanks! Meow!

Hi jenna
It gotta be very tough on you, but You tried your best. there are some problems that a vet cant solve. first of all what you feed her? because if you give her raw meet that diet is so complete that she would fast herself. If not watch her food and see is she not alergic with something in her food or around because my cat was coughing very badly during summer, I rushed to the vet but they said she is fine. this happened over and over again, and I were in the same situation as you are now. you cant believe it but as summer finished her coughing ended.
Also get one of those *cat natural care* and check if you can give her something herbally to help her.
I hope she will be fine soon

Could you cat be getting into houseplants or something else that might give him an upset stomach?

Thanks. She eats Nutra Max Kitten, which is very good for kittens. I never give her table scraps at all.

It's sad because I hate her to not feel good. She's so precious.

Hi,
Some cats and kittens that eat alot can sometimes starve themselves if they become bloated... Some cats just like a change in there diet..

Vomiting could be down to her eating her food to fast and she got a little stuck...

I have added a link on what can cause vomiting in cats, and it also suggests things to do hopefully this will solve the problem of her being sick and hopefully get her back on track again hope its of some use to you keep us posted..
