I just got a new cat and she seems to have had an allregic reaction to something and started to scratch at her face and now there is a big open wound on her face!! What can I do to clear it up? I dont have money to have a vet run all those tests but can buy something over the counter if it will heal it up! Please i need help its getting bad and i have to keep her quarintined from my other cats. IP: Logged |

As far as where she scratched, you can wash it out with soap and water(using a wash cloth) and put neosporin on it to keep it from getting infected. Try to make sure she doesn't lick the neosporin off. The bigger problem is fixing the allergy that she has. Do you know what she is allergic to? IP: Logged |
