I just visited my best friend who's puppy had parvo...he is doing fine now, and has been fine for about a week... I was just wondering if cats can get parvo from dogs. She has a cat, as do I. Thank you so much. IP: Logged |

No, I don't think a cat can become infected with parvo from a dog. Feline parvo is only infectious to cats and I assume the same is true for canine parvo. http://www.vet4petz.com/articles/feline_panleu_vir.htm IP: Logged |

Thank you for the great link and information - I was concerned because all day the puppy had been crawling all over me and chewing my shoelaces...things puppies do...and I was concerned that I would bring something home on me...thank you again. IP: Logged |
