I have a seemingly healthy 5 year old calico who for the past few months has been throwing up clear vomit on and off and recently had a bout of diarhea with blood in the stool. I brought in a new cat a few months ago who is clean and my calico seems to be stresssed out from the new intruder. Could she have vomiting and blood from the trauma of a new cat alone or what is the deal? The vet said let her be and all the books say blood in the stool is pretty serious stuff - HELP! IP: Logged |

Blood in the stool is serious! Take her to another vet for a second opinion. IP: Logged |

i would not let that just go. I would take her to another vet. You dont want to let this go on and her getting even more sick. She may seem ok but that sounds very serious. ------------------ IP: Logged |
