My cat is extremely tempermental. She is very spoiled and when she doesn't get her own way she throws a bit of a fit. Unfortunately this means that when I leave her alone she urinates on the carpet. What do I do to stop this? It only happens when I am not here!! Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Sounds like your cat may have separation anxiety. Have you discussed this yet with your vet?
Here is a link with more info: http://www.petplace.com/articles/artShow.asp?artID=3341

You could maybe try one of those ComfortZone plug-ins and see if that helps at all. They are supposed to help calm stressed and anxious pets. Good luck.

My cat is the same way except she does it when we are here, and in our bedroom.
I will check out that link.

My cat does these, should I be concerned?

-Over-attachment to the owner, following that person from room to room around the house.

-Exuberant greeting behavior – as if greeting a long lost friend that they did not expect to see ever again.

Kayliface:
It's normal for kittens to be more attached to their owner. I got a 6 month old kitten from the shelter and he followed me everywhere for a few months. I wouldn't worry unless she has problems when you leave.

Weird enough, tonight, while I was on the net just surfing, I looked over and saw some poop on the floor .. she hasn't done this in 2 months!

I guess she really wanted my attention ...
