Hi all. I adopted a 9 weeks old kitten just yesterday. Now I am having trouble naming her. She is mostly white with a dark brown tail and brown patches on the back of her years and the face around the nose area. She has clear and light blue eyes. I am trying to think of a name that resembles her appearance, but my English is no good, so I am thinking I could use some help here. Thanks. IP: Logged |

i can only help with how i name my animals. I will watch them for a while and see how they act in general. I name them with personality. I found a kitten about 3 weeks ago and i named him charlie because he just seems like a charlie. Good luck with the naming... IP: Logged |

I try to avoid the "usual" cat names. I do have a fluff, only b/c it really fits him. I usually name them according to appearance or personality. The thread nern posted has a lot of cat names in it. Sometimes it takes awhile, but the names usually come. I couldn't name one of my cats I had had for a month or more. One day he walked in the room and I looked at him and thought Merlin, and now that's his name. It suits him. The other way I name is by history. I had a Big Red then Little Red and now Junior (it sounds better than Red the third). They all looked alike, obviously Orange/Red tabbies. Is she a Siamese mix? IP: Logged |

Thanks guys for the help. I did check the unusual cat names thread but didn't like any of them. But anyways, me and my gf have named our kitten Tertia (it means the Third in Latin). Reason is that this is our third adopted kitty. I am not sure if it is a Siamese mix or not. Her body doesn't look like one at all, just the color and pattern do match. I will post a pic of her when I find out how to or someone here can help me out. Thanks. IP: Logged |
