he refuses to eat, but he sometimes still has the energy to play a bit. now hes growing weaker by the day and it concerns me. anyone knows if this is normal? i will be taking him to the vet. he seems to walk across the hallway and then stop,as if tryingto backtrack his path. i read that this is normal. he looks to be suffering from depression, seriously. his whiskers are drooping and his nose is dry. everytime i touch him he backs away. anyone has had this problem before??
please reply asap.

The dry nose is normal. The rest of it is not.

I would say to get him to a vet immediately. The way he backs away when you try to touch him seems to me that he may be in some pain.

It could be old age or cancer or kidneys or just a cold. Please take him to the vet for a checkup and let us know what happens!
