Hello! I am new. My kitty, Rascal,(1 of 4) is about 1 1/2 years old. Recently (last week or so), he has thrown up frequently and kept to himself. He is usually very playful, yet he has laid down in one spot alot by himself lately and does not really play. I can't afford to go to the vet right now. I hand-fed him as a kitten. Since he hasn't been eating, the vomit is very yellow, bile? I have since been paying better attention and try to give him some wet food twice a day where he can eat it alone. But it seems like he is only licking the gravy. He'll drink some water. But I am very worried, he's starting to get skinnier. He was a miracle kitten (born 10 hours after his brothers in the same litter) and I'm not about to lose him now. If I pay him this extra attention and keep him eating at least something, will he get better. And I know, take him to the vet. Any help??? IP: Logged |

Give the vet a phone call and see what they say. Sounds like kitty might need to make a trip though. Your cat might need antibiotics from the vet to get better. IP: Logged |
